Jason E. Owen
Apostle Jason E. Owen was born in Georgetown Demerara Guyana South America where he received his early education and attended both North Georgetown Government Secondary School and Queens College Secondary School. In 1980, he migrated to Brooklyn, New York United States of America where he matriculated at Kingsborough Community College in Sheep’s Head Bay Brooklyn, New York and graduated with an Associate In Science Degree in Pre-Physical Therapy. He also matriculated at Brooklyn College in Brooklyn, New York as a Physics Major within the Pre-Medical Program; but upon answering God’s call to pursue the Gospel Ministry rather than a medical career, he left Brooklyn College to attend Community Bible Institute in Brooklyn, New York. Having completed his undergraduate studies at Community Bible Institute, he enrolled in the Master’s of Religious Education, Master’s of Theology, and Doctorate of Sacred Theology Programs of United Christian College in Saint Auburn Queens, New York where he also graduated with a Master’s Degree in Religious Education, a Master’s Degree in Theology, and a Doctorate in Sacred Theology. When United Christian College permanently closed its doors, these Degrees were transferred to Lighthouse Christian College in BeBe, Arkansas.
Secularly, Apostle Owen holds the position of ACCESS Community Liaison of the ACCESS Diversity Initiative of VITAS Innovative Hospice Care within the VITAS Atlanta, Georgia Program. He also serves on the Community Advisory Board of the Morehouse School of Medicine Clinical Research Center in Atlanta, Georgia and on The Healthy Brain Initiative Coalition of the Atlanta, Georgia Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Ecclesiastically, he is a member of the Concerned Black Clergy of Metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia, Inc. where he serves on the Health Committee, he serves as Apostolic Advisor on the executive board of Redemption Christian Counseling Services, Inc. in Metro Atlanta, Georgia, and as the Chairman of the Apostolic Council of United Federation of Christian Churches and Ministries, Inc. which is headquartered in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He is the Academic Dean of Christian Growth Bible Institute in Conyers, Georgia, the President of Biblical Deliverance Ministries School of Ministry in Snellville, Georgia, and as the Chief Apostle and Presiding Bishop of Biblical Deliverance Ministries, Inc. which is headquartered in Snellville, Georgia, oversees Churches and Para-Church Ministries in Atlanta, Georgia, Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Spring Hill, Florida.
Jason received Jesus Christ as his Savior at the age of 12 years old and is the husband of one wife, Prophet Janine A. Owen, Senior Pastor of Snellville Biblical Deliverance Center in Snellville, Georgia, the father of three sons, John-Anthony, Julian, and Joel, and currently resides with his family in Snellville, Georgia.
Janine A. Owen
Prophet Janine A. Owen was born in New Amsterdam Berbice Guyana South America. She received her early education both in New Amsterdam Berbice and Georgetown Demerara Guyana South America. In 1978, she while a teenager, migrated to Brooklyn New York United States of America where she both attended and graduated from Erasmus Hall High School and matriculated at Stony Brook University State University New York (SUNY) in Stony Brook Long Island New York where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.
She is the wife of Apostle Jason E. Owen, and the mother of three sons, John-Anthony, Julian, and Joel. She is the founder of Women of Excellence Ministries, Inc. and serves as Prophetic Advisor on the executive board of Redemption Christian Counseling Services, Inc. a Para-Church ministry whose vision is to make a difference in the lives of teens and families through its three phase program of Group Home Services, Pregnancy Resource Centers, and Battered Women’s Shelters.
Janine received Jesus Christ as her Savior at the age of 13 years old; a decision she has never regretted. She has served for many years as intercessor and supporter amid the ministry of her husband Apostle Jason E. Owen.
Janine answered the call to Pastor in 2005, whereupon she was ordained and installed as the Pastor of Snellville Biblical Deliverance Center (SBDC) in Snellville, Georgia. The ministry of SBDC is one of reaching out to people with the love of God, in order to empower them through the Word of God, and to disciple them in the Word of God. Currently, Prophet Janine A. Owen and her family reside in Snellville, Georgia.
